PolarStar F2 Conversion Kit - HK417

This PolarStar F2 Conversion Kit - HK417 is specifically developed for the HK417 airsoft replica which has its own dedicated gearbosshell.

Winner of "Best HPA Engine" in the 9th Airsoft Players Choice Awards, the dual solenoid design of the F2™ offers the same functionality as the legendary Fusion Engine™, but in a more compact, efficient and flexible design. The dual solenoids allow the nozzle and poppet valve to be adjusted independently for unparalleled control over both charge time and air volume used. This also makes it possible to change the firing order, allowing the system to operate in both closed-lock and AEG mode.

The F2™ has a new lightweight one-piece valve design, but still operates on the same principle as the Fusion Engine™ valve. This valve can operate at lower pressures and uses less air volume to operate, optimising air efficiency.

A robust design allows an operating pressure range of 45 to 145 psi, allowing the F2™ to reach speeds from CQB to DMR, while using only one nozzle for the entire speed range.

In addition, the nozzle spring is forward curved, ensuring consistent loading force regardless of the working pressure. It shares the same spring as the Fusion Engine™ with both light and heavy spring options to adjust the loading force.

Speed: 480fps with .20g @ 145psi

The F2™ can easily adjust velocity by simply changing the input pressure and does not require different nozzles to reach its full velocity range. Using a standard M4 as an example, the velocity can be adjusted from less than 280 fps to around 480 fps with a .20g BB. The velocity may vary by model, as longer barrels will increase the maximum velocity, while shorter barrels will decrease it.

ROF: 30rps

The maximum cyclic velocity of the F2™ is affected by several factors, such as operating pressure and the quality of the magazine and bullets used. But 30 rounds per second is achievable in most standard configurations.

Air efficiency: 1000+ shots of 13/3000 @ 1.5J with .28g

The standard F2™ poppet valve is equivalent to the Fusion Engine™'s Red Low-Flow poppet valve. However, this valve is more responsive and requires less air to operate, allowing the F2™ to achieve greater air efficiency than even a finely tuned Fusion Engine™.
