PolarStar F2 HPA Engine for M4/M16

The PolarStar F2 HPA Engine for M4/M16 is the "Best HPA Engine" winner in the 9th Airsoft Players Choice Awards.

The dual solenoid design of the F2™ offers the same functionality as the legendary Fusion Engine™, but in a more compact, efficient and flexible design. Dual solenoids allow the nozzle and poppet valve to be adjusted independently for unparalleled control over both charge time and air volume used. In addition, this allows the ignition sequence to be changed, allowing the F2™ to operate in both closed-lock mode and AEG mode.

The F2™ has a new, lightweight one-piece poppet valve design, but still operates on the same principle as the Fusion Engine™ poppet valve. This valve can operate at lower pressures and uses less air volume to operate, optimising air efficiency.

A robust design allows an operating pressure range of 45 to 145 psi, allowing the F2™ to achieve speeds from CQB to DMR, while only one nozzle is needed for the entire speed adjustment range.

Speed: 480fps with .20g at 145psi

With the F2™, velocity can be easily adjusted by simply changing the input pressure and no different nozzles are needed to achieve the full velocity range. Using a standard M4 as an example, the velocity can be adjusted from less than 280 fps to around 480 fps with a .20g BB. The velocity may vary from model to model, as longer barrels will increase the maximum velocity and shorter barrels will decrease it.

ROF: 30rps

The maximum cycle rate of the F2™ is affected by several factors, such as operating pressure and the quality of the magazine and the BBs used. But 30 bb's per second is achievable in most standard configurations.

Air efficiency: 1000+ shots of 13/3000 @ 1.5J with .28g

The standard F2™ poppet valve is equivalent to the Fusion Engine™'s Red Low Flow poppet valve. However, this valve is more responsive and requires less air volume to operate, allowing the F2™ to achieve greater air efficiency than even a finely tuned Fusion Engine™.
