The Aluminium piston heads wear out the least because of their strong material but because they are made of aluminium they also give the hardest sound. The Polycarbonate pistonhead is lighter than the aluminium pistonhead and also gives less sound and because they are made of plastic, they are less likely to damage the cylinder. The Silent Pistonhead has a soft rubber head which makes it very quiet. For this you need a cylinderhead that is suitable for this.
